The role of the Student Peace Alliance National Field Organizer is to support the Student Peace Alliance grassroots network. National Field Organizers (NFO) are expected to:
- Support 10-15 SPA chapters with organizing, recruitment, fundraising, event planning, media relations, political advocacy, and community service as it relates to peacebuilding.
- Develop strong relationships with the chapters.
- Track the events, actions, media and other efforts of the chapters.
- Participate in National Organizing Team conference calls twice a month.
- Participate in any National All-Calls with members of the grassroots.
- Be in regular contact with the National Field Director.
We are looking for individuals with organizing experience. This organizing experience does not need to be with Student Peace Alliance but knowledge of our organization is important.
